Grocery Store Failure

March 25th, 2013 at 06:51 pm

I went about $50 over budget at the grocery store. Most of it was cat food/dog food/cat litter. I shouldn't have to purchase that stuff for a while. I always buy big bags of it so I don't have to purchase them often. I also bought a lot of frozen food. I feel good that we will have numerous choices to eat for the next two weeks.

I wonder if you could pull a little from each paycheck for the pets? Put in an envelope, and then when you do go to buy those at the grocery store the cost doesn't impact your grocery bill.

I know I buy cat food every other month and litter once a month. Do you know how frequently you buy these things? If not, start tracking. Write the date on your calendar or on the box/bag.

    Enjoy your yummy food!!
