Best laid Plans...

I tried to go walking at the rec center today but they were closed for the holiday. Bummer. Will have to start my new walking plan tomorrow.

Went to Food Lion to get orange juice. They were out of the store brand that I usually get so I had to get name brand. I spent $12 on three cartons of orange juice and a pack of cinnamon rolls.

Darn. That is disappointing...I admire that you were determined to go. You could walk around your house during commercials on tv this evening. I've even run in my own home before, up and down steps!

I don't mean to sound snarky but encourage you to look at how much sugar has been added to the orange juice you are buying whether brand name or store brand. According to nutritionists, for the sake of your health it is far better to buy fresh oranges.

Sorry the centre was closed, I'm wondering how many miles you need to walk for each cinnamon bun consumed? It makes me sad when you choose self defeating actions from time to time.

Have you seen Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds videos? If not, see if you can find one at your library and check it out. If you like it (and have access to a VCR), I have a VHS of one of her routines I'd be happy to send you. (I don't have a tv or vcr anymore, so it's just collecting dust.) I used it quite a bit to get exercise in a small space and/or during bad weather times.
