I am thinking of getting rid my satelitte and opting for a Roku. I have researched it enough to know that the shows I watch are on Hulu the next day. That is fine with me.
The only concern I have is football season. I love to watch as many football games as possible. I can get a subscription to NFL game Rewind but I don't know if I can access it for the Roku. Can you go to specific websites on the roku like you can from a computer?
Does anyone have Roku?

We subscribe to "playon" (which you can get the NFL content through, according to google) it is all linked to our computer. I can't tell you how complex this is - my dh takes care of the tech side of all this. But I don't think this is an overly complicated setup. We bought a $40 lifetime subscription to playon.
Be forewarned that there is a large amount of Hulu content you can not watch without playon. Which is why we got playon on the first place. A lot of the Hulu content is for "web only" and can not be accessed through the roku.
Off the top of my head, I am not even sure if we access all the web/playon stuff with the roku at all. Might just be hooked up to our TV, or could maybe access through the Playstation. {I don't watch it much, because I find it kind of a pain. I mostly watch Amazon, netflix and Hulu content that is right on the roku}.

My dh says that you just download and install playon on your computer. & add the playon channel to your roku. It can be all done through wireless, but may be too slow (lots of buffering). Easier if you have some tech savvy (or if your kids do!). Our house was long ago wired for this so we have everything hard wired.
