My weigh in was just kind of so-so. I gained .2 pounds. I know that isn't alot but it frustrates me that I didn't lose any weight. I have totally watched everything I eat. I am tracking everything I eat and staying well within my points allowance and I haven't eaten out once in the last two weeks. I just don't get it. This is the type of stuff that makes me give up.
I made it the two weeks for the Not Eating Out Challenge. It feels good to have accomplished this. How did everyone else do?
Yesterday was almost a NSD. I spent $3 at the gas station for two sodas.
No Eating Out: 9/9 (14/14 total)
Tracking Food: NO 8/9
NSD: No 2/9
Completely frustrated

For somebody who has "suffered" through many plateaus on my way to losing 40+lbs, push on. What helped me is knowing that a plateau is a "win"...you aren't gaining, after all. Also remember that its inches that are visible, not the weight. Your weight isn't broadcast on your forehead after all!

Right now my scale is moving *very* slowly. I'm not doing my sweets binges and am eating much, much more healthfully. Plus I'm getting in *a lot* more exercise than I would have 4 months ago. I do sometimes wonder if it's worth it .. worth getting up super early on a summer morning to run 45 minutes ... worth skipping out on the chocolate I'm craving ... especially when I see that same number, or that same number range show up day after day after day.
What keeps me going is knowing that even though the loss is happening excruciatingly slowly, the overall trend IS loss, and that I'm redeveloping the healthy habits I need to make this loss LONG TERM this time. The harder I(you) have to work for a goal, the more likely I(you) are to cherish that success and want to maintain it.

What all have said is true - you're establishing a new way to do things, so patience is key. And what the scale shows at any single moment isn't necessarily a reflection of how well you're doing (and is quite often showcasing the sodium in your last meal.)
I know for me, I'll have a "perfect" week of following the plan, tracking, exercising, etc, and then have a .2 gain such as yours. And just as easily, I'll have weeks where I might have even gone over the weeklies or didn't have much activity, and then I lost - not complaining, but puzzling to be sure.
I do know that tracking, making better food choices and getting in some activity are what works, and watching the trend over time and having patience with yourself all help (the mental part of this journey is often the hardest!)
btw - it looks like you might have the monthly pass, if so, have you accessed the etools message boards for inspiration? I go there often - like daily - when my motivation flags
Sorry for long reply - I know how evil those .2s are.... but I just you'll have another great week and it'll show up eventually!!
