Resisted the Urge to Order Pizza

December 28th, 2011 at 04:23 pm

On the way home last night I thought about ordering pizza for dinner. Was just about ready to do it. But in the end, I didn't do it. I had a meatloaf in the fridge that needed to be cooked...add some mashed potatoes and baked beans and dinner was done. I was proud of myself for fixing what was there instead of bringing more junk into the house.

I haven't eaten breakfast out in two weeks either. And the scale is reflecting that. It is easy to avoid the temptation when you see results right away. I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast instead of the two croissant sandwiches each morning. No wonder I kept gaining weight. The pants I am wearing today are literally falling off of me. I looked for a belt at Walmart but they didn't have any that would go around me. Didn't think to look in the mens department while I was there. Need to find one because I don't have any smaller jeans until I lose about 40 pounds.

Great job resisting the pizza. Your meal sounds yummy and healthy. We ended up eating out for pizza. A splurge we often do when DH is home. We did pick thin crust pizza and we have leftovers.

I'm so excited that you are losing weight! Good luck finding a belt, too. Maybe a thrift store?
