Obsessed!

I am obsessed with my budget. I know that could not necessarily be a bad thing, but in my case I think it is. I stare at my budget/check register for long periods of time during the day when I am supposed to be working. But when I get this obsessed with the budget is when I seem to do the best with sticking to it. Just wish I wasn't as obsessed with it. Need to get some work done!

My sister delivered the treadmill to me yesterday. Now we just gotta get it in the house. It is a NordicTrack commercial treadmill so it is very heavy! My teenage son and his friends have been assigned the task of getting it in the house.

The war on fleas continues. We have never had any problem with fleas before but this year has been horrible! I did 3 bombs in the house but I don't think they worked very well. And the frontline I put on the cats doesn't seem to be working either. I am almost at my wits end!

    I am micro-managing the expense tracker as well. But I do believe that due diligence helps me "conserve the capital" and we really aren't spending that much.

    Yipes on the Fleas - I know that you have to kill the eggs two and that usually calls for a second bombing a few weeks after the first bombing.

    I'm in the same boat with my budget! It's kind of sick how many times I check it; in fact I tend to keep it open on whatever computer I'm working at, and it's almost like my mental break from other stuff to stare at the budget and visualize the next few days, weeks or months to make sure everything's in order.

    Totally the same way with my budget. I have an excel spreadsheet that's open all day at work. I normally spend the first few minutes of work updating numbers to match my bank account online and then intermittently throughout the day I do some small tweeks. There's definitely worse things in the world to be obsessed with, so I wouldn't sweat it!

    I am the same way. I check it everyday and play around with it regularly. It keeps me feeling in control and organized.

    I was too until I handed it all over to DH. I am still monitoring it, but not as obscessed.

    Every time I'm online I check my bank account or I am looking at my budget. Smile For your fleas: Try using Revolution on your cats. I might also give a Capstar tablet twice a week for a few weeks. And instead of bombs, (I don't think they really do much) vacuum frequently and try Siphotrol Plus Premise Spray.
    Then be sure to keep up on the prevention!
