Doctors Visit

September 12th, 2012 at 05:28 pm

My DD went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago for a tick bite and suspected sinus infection. The doctor gave her one antibiotic for the tick bite and said that if that didn't fix the sinus infection to call her. I thought that she would call in an antibiotic for the sinus infection. But instead she wants to see DD. This is more than annoying since I only have $13.68 in my checking account. I had to call my mom for help. She said that she would cover the co pay plus the prescriptions. She told me that she always has money for things like that. So thankful that I have parents(my dad too when he was alive) that are in a position to help their struggling daughter.

I thought in your last post you indicated some savings...isn't that what it should be for, rather than taking your mother money? I hope your DD feels better soon.

I do have $330 in savings at an online bank. I don't have immediate access to it. I have never transferred money out of it so I don't know how long it takes. I know it takes about three days for a transfer into the account to show up. I plan to transfer some of it back to my account and pay my mom back.

Great plan! It probably does take a few days to get the money out. And awesome job with the savings.

I hope it's nothing serious for DD - is dr thinking it could be Lyme, or just taking precaution?

Yay for savings - and sometimes it is good to have it in a "safe" location (hard to get to but for an emergency.)
