Financially Disappointing Year

December 1st, 2011 at 08:32 am

I can't believe it is December already. This year hasn't been so great financially. I didn't get anything paid off. I am in the same position that I was in last December. That is really depressing. Hopefully next year will be better since I have gotten good renters in the house.

My budget for the next few weeks is looking good. If all goes well I will be back on track mid January. Send positive thoughts my way!

Hugs. I feel a bit the same way. Two steps forward, a million back.

Treading water is great compared to drowning. Wink Best wishes for a better new year. Heck-- for a better final month of the year!

Sending positive thoughts your way indeed. It's a tough economy in which to make headway.

We didn't make much headway this year either...running two households is expensive!

I think you have done pretty well this year considering your problem with the renters! Sending positive thoughts for 2012! Smile

At least you didn't go further into debt. How are things going with the new renters? I don't think you've really posted too much about them yet.

I really liked Joan of the arch's comment.

I hear ya! So here's to 2012 treating all of us a little better! Big Grin
    (I also like Joan's comment)

Don't beat yourself up over it. You have good renters now. Every little step, no matter how small, does matter.

I think you have done fine - treading water is better than sliding backwards. Anyway, 2012 is a new year, so don't let it get you down. & All the more reason to try harder to make more progress next year!
