Last Pack of Cigarettes

I just purchased my last pack of cigarettes. They will probably last until Friday. I will purchase no more.

I filled up the car tank today for 28.01. I had 39.99 in the budget. I sent the remaining 11 something to medical bills. Every little bit helps.

    Good luck! I did a health assessment at work and it said that not smoking is the single most important thing you can do to reduce chance of death by heart problems. That made me VERY glad I took the leap and quit smoking several years ago.

    I feel like you do a lot of things "cold turkey" and then - if you slip a bit - you just throw in the towel completely. (Eating out, quitting soda, budgeting.) I'm glad that you're trying, but I also encourage you to not give up if you find yourself slipping. No cigarettes is great! But many fewer cigarettes is also great. On or two a day isn't so bad - if it helps you cut down and EVENTUALLY stop completely.
