My Observation

I realized today that while I have no problem telling DD that we don't have money when she asks for something I don't have the same discipline when it comes to me buying something. I need to get more disciplined with myself. Not only will my budget benefit but my health will too.

    Yes, us grownups have to tell ourselves no sometimes...especially to chocolate cake and brownies! I'm relating from a weight loss sense today, I guess. Wink

    Hey gals, I'm happy to report that I had no Halloween candy today (a sad behavior I've picked up) and I've jotted my food intake down, too; just have to enter it into the computer and I walked my mother's dog an extra two blocks. There are definite advantages to "doing the right thing" even though it isn't always easy. Smile

    I would say you are farther ahead than many folks...many refuse to admit they cannot afford something and are trying to maintain appearances. Bravo!
