Prescriptions and Gas

September 28th, 2012 at 10:52 pm

I filled up the gas tank today for $26. I still have $74 left in the gas budget for the next week.

I spent $108 at the drugstore for my prescriptions. Since my scripts were less than I had budgeted for I went ahead and picked up my son's inhaler. He hasn't had to money to get it. I only overspent by $8 so I am happy.

I now have $25 to last until next Friday. I won't need all $74 for gas so that will get me through.

You are doing great! How nice that you can help your son. BTW, I did eat out yesterday...after the garage sale, I hit McDonalds. We had pizza with family at the beginning of the month and may have another pizza pickup tomorrow because we have guests again. Otherwise...all eating in. How are you doing with the eating in?

Well, done! I was so happy to see that where I live gas is now UNDER $4 (even if it is only $3.93) and that will help a bit. I've had to keep upping and upping my funding pots, depleting elsewhere. Good going!!

Keep it up! I am glad that you have the flexibility to allow the unused gas money as insurance for other needs... some people are far too rigid in that regard. Sorry that your Rx costs lead to such a huge hit like that! It's amazing how expensive they can be.
