Dad is Better!!!

Thank you guys for all your well wishes. My dad seems to be coming out of it and is back to his old self again. The Dr said he thinks that maybe a dose of medicine was missed. It was really scary there for a while.

Still haven't heard from the renters regarding the rest of the rent or the power bill money. Sent them a text asking when they want to meet. I hope to hear back from them soon. HAHA.

Budget is still looking ok for the next few weeks. Just minor changes to it at this point.

    So glad that things are looking better for your dad!

    Not so surprised by the renters - they seem to do just enough to get you thinking "Things will be fine ...", but then reality sets in. I've had Versions A and B of the budget given prompt rental income and tardy rental income for years now.

    So very glad to hear that your Dad is better. Amazing what medication can do, both positive and negative.

    What are you going to do if they don't pay soon? In the future, you might consider only accepting full rent, rather than partial payments.

    I'm so happy your Dad is better! In my opinion, I feel that you are being too passive about it. I doubt very much that they'll ever have the rent; it's time to take action.

    Very good news about dad....sometimes those pill divider things can be helpful if you're taking multiple medicines.
